Answer every call.
Even the ones at 2am.
AI agents resolve the routine calls end to end. Your people get the ones that actually need a human — with the whole conversation already in front of them.
An ICASA-licensed South African operator carrying 10 million minutes and 50 million messages a month — on a softswitch we wrote ourselves to fix the things this industry kept getting wrong.
Every product runs on the same switch and lands on the same bill — so a call, a number and a text message all reconcile in one place instead of three vendor portals.
AI agents answer the routine calls, coach your team on the live ones, and score every single interaction. Your people handle what actually needs a human.

Explore →AI agents pick up the repetitive calls — balances, order status, bookings — and resolve them start to finish. Anything complicated goes to a person with the full conversation already in front of them.

A London number, a Johannesburg number and a New York number on one account — all ringing wherever you want them to. Customers dial a local number; you answer from anywhere.

SMS lands on any phone with signal — no app, no data bundle, no account. It's still the highest open rate of any channel, and in most of the world it's the only one that reaches everybody.

Our core network sits in Johannesburg. From there we terminate voice and messaging A-Z — direct where we hold interconnects, tiered partners beyond that, and honest quality reporting either way.
Most providers in this market resell a switch someone else wrote. Ours was built from scratch by an engineer who had lived the problems — so when you need something unusual, the answer is a schedule, not a roadmap ticket.
Odd billing rule? Unusual routing? A report your finance team needs? That's an afternoon's work, not a feature request.
Calls, numbers and messages on a single invoice, in your currency, with the cost and the charge on every record.
We hold our own licence and run our own core network — we're not reselling someone else's regulatory cover.
When something breaks at 2am you reach someone who can read a SIP trace and fix it — not someone reading a script.
We didn't licence a softswitch — we wrote one. Which means we can also licence it to you. Three ways to deploy, depending on how much of it you want to own.
Use our platform under your own brand. Nothing to install, nothing to maintain — you sell, we run the infrastructure.
Your own dedicated instance, isolated from everyone else, but still operated and monitored by our engineers.
The platform deployed on your own infrastructure, under commercial licence. You operate it; we support you.
This isn't a single-customer system with tenants bolted on afterwards. Every layer — routing, rating, billing, reporting — was written to serve many customers at once, each isolated from the others.
Most platforms selling into South Africa route your calls and store your recordings in Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Virginia. Ours run on infrastructure we operate here, under our own ICASA licence, subject to South African law — while still terminating A-Z worldwide.

Different sectors, same pattern — high call volume, compliance obligations, and customers who expect an answer now.

Recorded, consent-tracked calls with retention policy and legal hold. OTPs that arrive in seconds, on priority routes.
Automated SMS at every step, and an AI agent fielding "where's my parcel" so your team never has to.
Multi-tenant by design. Run each client separately, bill them separately, brand the whole thing as yours.
A-Z termination, DID inventory and SMPP routes with real per-destination quality data, plus a switch you can license.
Appointment reminders that cut no-shows, recorded consultations with POPIA-compliant retention, and after-hours triage.
Proactive status messaging that keeps customers off the phone, and numbers that follow drivers wherever they are.
No six-week discovery phase before anything works. Open an account and you can be testing real traffic the same afternoon.
Free to create. You immediately see live rates for your destinations and what numbers are available.
We run interconnect testing with you and prove quality on your actual destinations before you commit anything.
Numbers moved across, trunks configured, agents onboarded. We schedule the cutover outside your business hours.
Add seats, numbers, destinations or whole resellers as you grow. No migration, no re-buying what you already have.
No "contact us for pricing" on everything. Create an account and look at live rates for your own destinations.
No tier-one triage, no ticket that sits overnight. Call the NOC and you reach an engineer with access to the switch your traffic is running through.

We give businesses everything they need to talk to customers: an AI-powered call centre, a Cloud PBX phone system, phone numbers in markets worldwide, and bulk SMS. Carriers and resellers also buy wholesale voice termination and number inventory from us, and partners license the whole platform under their own brand.
Bulk SMS to South Africa starts at R0.16 per message with volume tiers below that. A-Z voice termination starts from $0.0017 per minute depending on destination. Cloud PBX and contact centre are priced per seat. Create an account and you can see live rates for your own destinations before committing to anything.
Yes, and it's the main reason people move to us. We wrote the softswitch, rating engine and billing platform ourselves rather than licensing them, so custom routing, bespoke rating rules, tailored reports and specific integrations are engineering work we scope and deliver — not a feature request into someone else's queue.
Worldwide. We terminate voice and SMS A-Z and hold number inventory across Africa, Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Our head office and core network are in South Africa, which is where we're deepest, but customers and traffic aren't limited to any one region.
Yes. We port them across and handle the losing-carrier paperwork, the regulatory forms and the cutover scheduling. Your numbers stay yours — and if you ever leave, we'll port them out just as willingly.
A full A-Z rate deck priced to your volume and destination mix, least-cost routing with automatic carrier failover, CDR export carrying cost, charge and both rates on every record, and per-destination ASR, ACD, PDD and MOS. We run interconnect testing with you before you send a single live call.
Zephyr was written by an engineer who spent years working inside South African telecoms — running switches, managing routes and reconciling rate decks — and kept hitting the same limitations across every kind of operator. Carriers renting switches they couldn't extend. Wholesalers losing margin in currency gaps. Resellers sold "white-label" that still carried someone else's branding. Call centres paying per seat for imported software that couldn't handle local accents. Rather than work around those problems again, the platform was built to remove them. Every design decision in it traces back to a specific frustration.
Commercial softswitches like PortaOne, Sansay and Telinta are licensed products — you pay ongoing fees, capacity is usually tied to what you've purchased, and new capability arrives on the vendor's roadmap rather than yours. Zephyr was written in-house precisely to get out of that model. It deploys in days rather than months, scales channels without a per-port renegotiation, runs on your own infrastructure if you want it to, handles voice and SMS on one rating engine, and any module you need is engineering work we scope and deliver. Terms vary by vendor and contract, so compare against your actual agreement — but for most operators the total cost is materially lower.
Yes — three ways. Hosted by us under your brand, which is fastest to launch. Co-hosted, where you get a dedicated isolated instance that we still operate and monitor. Or a self-managed licence where the platform runs on your own infrastructure and your data never leaves your estate. Source code remains Zephyr property in all three.
An account and a number can be live the same day. A full contact centre migration with porting typically runs two to four weeks, most of which is waiting on the losing carrier rather than on us. We'll give you a realistic date, not an optimistic one.
Create an account, look at live rates for your destinations, test a route and check number availability. Nothing to commit to until it works for you.
